Why I'm in Love with YOGA :
Yoga balances my body mind and soul ! I go deeper into myself with every session , it's the best journey of self discovery for life !
My favorite type of yoga is Bikram Yoga !
BIKRAM YOGA : Beginning Series classes run for 90 minutes and consist of the same series of 26 postures, including two breathing exercises. Bikram Yoga is a hot yoga style, and is ideally practiced in a room heated to 35–42 °C (95–108 °F) with a humidity of 40%.
The insane heat in the Bikram Yoga session with the 26 postures discipline me to find peace in any real life situation.
THE PURPOSE OF YOGA :
The original context of yoga was spiritual development practices to train the body and mind to self observe and become aware of their own nature. The purposes of yoga were to cultivate discernment, awareness, self-regulation and higher consciousness in the individual.
HOW DOES YOGA HELP THE BODY :
Between lowering blood pressure, increasing circulation, and lowering bad cholesterol, it's no wonder that yoga helps to lower a person's risk of heart disease. The various poses and deep breaths help the heart do its job, increasing blood flow throughout the body, and improving the entire circulatory system.
